In the first 10 years of the MSC, 42 fisheries around the world were certified as sustainable. The stories were published as the MSC 10th anniversary report, Net Benefits, in September 2009.

Since then many more fisheries have gone on to be certified. Below you can read about the benefits experienced through MSC certification from individual fisheries in the program.
