Harbourmaster's Cockle Treat

This recipe for a cockle and bacon treat comes from Rory the harbourmaster of the Burry Inlet.

(choose proportions based on the number of people you wish to serve)
Cockles
Bacon
Butter
White wine
Garlic
Toast
 

To make

Simply fry smokey bacon cut into strips in butter
Add cockles a gluck of white wine and a little garlic
Place the cockle and bacon onto toast and eat!
