How to get a copy of the MSC ecolabel
All organisations, except the media, should apply to use the ecolabel by following the steps below.

6 steps to using the MSC ecolabel
1) Request a licence to use the MSC ecolabel. We will send you the licence agreement to sign and return. We will then email you the MSC ecolabel.
2) Design your packaging, promotional or other material using the MSC ecolabel, according to the rules for using the ecolabel.
3) Email your draft designs to ecolabel@msc.org for approval. For packaged products, you will also need to complete and submit a Product Approval Form (Word document, 853kb). For menu items or fish counter products, you will need to complete a Seafood Approval Form (Word document, 483kb)
4) Once approved, your products or materials may go on sale or be published.
5) Once printed, send samples of the MSC labelled materials to the MSC's head office in London.
6) Your product or menu item will be promoted on the MSC's online sustainable seafood product finder.

The MSC ecolabel is a trademark owned by the MSC and is only released to organisations that have a written agreement with the MSC. Unauthorized use is prohibited and will be treated as a trademark infringement.
