Status:
The 21-day period during which parties could have lodged an intent to object to the Certification Body's determination closed on the 6 August 2007. No statements of intent to object to the final assessment decision for the fishery were received.

The certification body, Moody Marine Ltd, have advised that the fishery attained a score of 80 or more against Principles 2 and 3, but scored less than 80 against Principle 1. Moody Marine has therefore determined that the fishery should not be certified according to the MSC's Principles and Criteria for Sustainable Fisheries. As a result no public certification report will be issued at this time.
