<p><span class="Apple-style-span">Seafood Choices Alliance's Seafood Summit is the largest gathering of sustainable seafood stakeholders in the world. In 2010 more than 600 delegates from 47 countries attended. This year's theme is “Responsibility without Borders”. &nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span">The Summit brings together global representatives from the seafood industry and conservation community for in-depth discussions, presentations and networking with the goal of making the seafood marketplace environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.</span></p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span">MSC will hold a workshop in Vancouver before the Summit on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. entitled "MSC Certification - Everything you've always wanted to know, but haven't had the chance to ask".&nbsp; <br /></span></p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span">At this workshop MSC technical staff will get into the details of the MSC certification program, how it is designed, and how it is applied through the "FCM", the "FAM", the "CoC" and other elements with acronyms.&nbsp; The workshop will be a mixture of information and updates on the workings of the program as well as an ample opportunity for dialogue and discussion around key points of interest. This event is being organized and hosted by the MSC. <p>Koninklijke Horeca Netherlands will start the new year with a great opportunity for members and restaurant owners during the Horecava foodservice exhibition 2011 in Amsterdam. Their VIP lounge in the RAI Elicium will be the central meeting point for foodservice.</p>
<p>During the Horecava, Koninklijke Horeca Netherlands has organised a daily 'Lunch and Learn' event. This will take place from 12h -13.30h on each day of the exhibition, before the general assembly for the different foodservice sectors.</p>
