Sodexo, Inc., the world leader in Quality of Daily Life Solutions, announced a comprehensive Sustainable Seafood Initiative, including a commitment to have 100% of its contracted fresh and frozen seafood certified as sustainable by the MSC by 2015.

A forthcoming global seafood policy will provide guidance for concrete actions to sustainably source seafood throughout the world in the 80 countries in which Sodexo operates. As a leading food service company in North America, Sodexo’s efforts will contribute greatly to expanding the availability of MSC-certified seafood to corporate, education, health care, government, and other institutions, as well as help to transform global fishing practices to a more environmentally sustainable basis.
