Bart van Olphen and Tom Kime scooped top prize for Fish Tales in the category 'Best Sustainable Food Book in the World' at the Gourmand world Cookbook Award in Paris on March 3rd 2011, putting MSC sustainable fisheries into the spotlight.

Pioneering seafood entrepreneur Bart van Olphen and inspirational chef Tom Kime have reached the world finals of the Gourmand Best Cook Book contest with Fish Tales, their collection of seafood recipes and insights into sustainable fisheries around the world. Fish Tales has already won the Best Photography category in The Netherlands, and will be judged at the Paris Cook Book Fair on 3 March.
More MSC success for French fisheries

Scapêche and the Compagnie des Pêches Saint-Malo were today certified as sustainable against the MSC environmental standard for sustainable and well managed fisheries. The certification relates to the saithe fishery in the North-East Atlantic, North Sea, and Northern Norwegian Sea.
