The Sian Ka’an and Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserves’ spiny lobster fishery has entered full assessment for Marine Stewardship Council certification. The Marine Stewardship Council’s (MSC) Asia Pacific office welcomed a new member to its team today, Bill Holden. Mr Holden, who joins the MSC staff as the new Pacific Fisheries Manager has a commercial fishing background, extensive experience in fisheries extension work and is the director of a tuna fishing company based in the Kingdom of Tonga.
