North East Atlantic mackerel pelagic trawl, purse-seine and handline - Annual Surveillance Audit
The Conformity Assessment Body, DNV, has announced that the North East Atlantic mackerel pelagic trawl, purse-seine and handline fishery will shortly be undergoing an annual surveillance audit. During the audit, DNV will be speaking with representatives of the fishery, fishery management bodies and other stakeholders of the fishery. Most meetings will be carried out over the period 19-21 June 2012 in Oslo and Bergen, Norway. Should you have any information on this fishery that you feel should be considered in the assessment, or if you would like to arrange a meeting, please contact Sandhya Chaudhury by 18 June 2012 Scottish Pelagic Sustainability Group Ltd North Sea herring - Site Visit ScheduledThe Conformity Assessment Body, Food Certification International Inc., has announced that the Scottish Pelagic Sustainability Group Ltd North Sea herring fishery is now entering the information gathering phase of the assessment. The primary objective of this stage is to collect information on the fishery and in particular to speak to representatives of the fishery, fishery management bodies and other stakeholders of the fishery. Meetings will be carried out over the period week commencing 16 July 2012 in Fraserburgh and/or Peterhead, Scotland. Any stakeholder with information on this fishery that should be considered in the assessment, or who wishes to meet with Food Certification International Inc., should contact Joanna Kabut, no later than 5pm GMT, 29 June 2012.
