Glossary of terms

Withdrawn: The certification body has revoked certificate and the company cannot buy or sell products as MSC certified from the date of withdrawal.

Suspended: The certification body has temporarily withdrawn the company's certificate. They cannot buy or sell products as MSC certified during the period of suspension.

Cancelled/expired: At client's request, the certificate has been cancelled, or the client has chosen not to renew their certificate upon expiry.
