Commercial Manager, Italy

Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Milan
Working Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent 

The MSC is looking for a Commercial Manager to support the Program Director delivering the MSC’s over-arching aims and commercial objectives in Italy.  You will work closely with all members of the team, particularly with the Communications Manager, supporting the delivery of Italy marketing and communications, and with the Fisheries Manager to create connections between the Seafood market and fisheries.

Who are you?

You will have:

  • A degree in (food) supply chain management, environmental management, bio-economy, or economics.
  • Proven experience building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • A commercial and service-oriented attitude.
  • A good understanding of sustainability and ecolabeling and be eager to help others make more conscious choices.
  • Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
  • A driving license in category B vehicles.

The MSC’s vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations.  Through our internationally recognised certification and ecolabeling program, well-managed sustainable fisheries are recognised and rewarded in the marketplace, through the leadership of our partners.  Over 400 fisheries around the world, representing more than 17% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program and MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.
