Office Assistant, France

We’re looking for an Office Assistant for our office in Paris. You'll provide support to the Program Director France and his team, as well as to the Regional Director South Europe and AMESA, including diary management and planning, making travel arrangements, managing correspondence and other day-to-day operations.

In addition, this post will play a lead role in providing administrative, executive and logistical support to the MSC's operations in France and support the team with CRM data management.  The post holder will also focus on office management activities in France: this includes liaising with the landlord, IT and telephone service suppliers, cleaning services, mail and office utilities, and administrative support.   

Who are you?

You will: 

  • Be able to demonstrable a track record with prior experience in an equivalent or transferable role;  
  • Have excellent organizational skills to forward plan with meticulous attention to detail; 
  • Be able to communicate in both French and English (both written and spoken); 
  • Have the ability to manage relationships, both internally and externally, and at all levels; 
  • Have a high level of proficiency with IT particularly with standard Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat) and desirably with MS Sharepoint, CRM databases and mailing list management;
  • Be able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects;
  • Be able to work independently, show initiative and manage activities within budget.

Over 400 fisheries around the world, representing 17% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC programme and over 1200 documented improvements to the way our oceans are being fished have been recorded. MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.
