Senior Commercial Outreach Officer, Belgium

Job Title: Senior Commercial Outreach Officer, Belgium
Location: Antwerp
Working Hours: full time (38 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed term contract (12 months) 

The MSC is looking for a Senior Commercial Outreach Officer to support the Commercial Manager delivering the MSC’s over-arching aims and commercial objectives in the Benelux region.

You will also work closely with the Marketing Manager, supporting the delivery of Belgian marketing and communications and assist the Digital Communications Manager developing media and relevant events for the Belgian Fisheries sector aimed at stimulating market demand for the program.

Who are you?

You will have:

  • A degree in (food) supply chain management, environmental management, bio-economy, marketing or corporate communications.
  • Proven experience building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • A commercial and service-oriented attitude.
  • A good understanding of sustainability and ecolabeling and be eager to help others make more conscious choices.
  • Fluent written and spoken Dutch and French and be proficient in English.
  • A driving license in category B vehicles.

The MSC's vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations.  Through our internationally recognised certification and ecolabeling program, well-managed sustainable fisheries are recognised and rewarded in the marketplace, through the leadership of our partners.  Over 400 fisheries around the world, representing more than 17% of the annual global marine catch, are now engaged in the MSC program and MSC certified and labelled seafood products are now available in over 100 countries.
