They will be able to demonstrate excellence in drafting news releases, working with in-house experts to deliver keynote reports and opinion pieces, co-ordinating global announcements, securing media interest and working with external agencies including media trainers. This will include working on upcoming events/announcements associated with the Our Ocean Conference in Oslo; the publication of the MSC’s annual report; new IPCC research; and the launch of our Ocean Stewardship Fund.

They’ll also support reactive PR efforts, ensuring that we are prepared to respond to issues which may impact our reputation, and responding to international media enquiries.
