Sustainable Seafood Day 2017 competition terms and conditions

1. This competition is open only to residents of Australia aged 18 or over at the date of entry and excludes employees of The Marine Stewardship Council, and anyone who is connected with the administration of this promotion.

3. Entrants must like the MSC in Australia Facebook page and comment on the competition post on said page to enter the competition. The entry judged to most creatively answer the competition question will be awarded prizes. Answers can be in the form of words and/or images. All entrants agree that the copyright for such entries shall be owned by The Marine Stewardship Council. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

4. The Promoter will not be liable for entries which are not received or are incomplete, corrupt or delayed for any reason. Proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

5. The competition opens on Monday 13 March 2017 10am GMT+11 and the last date for receipt of entries is Friday 31 March 6pm GMT+11.

6. All valid entries which are received by Friday 31 March 6pm GMT+11 will be judged by a team from the Promoter. The winner chosen will be at the Promoter’s discretion and all decisions will be final.

7. The prize winner must supply their address when requested by The Promoter. Delivery of the prize is to be arranged at a time convenient for both the winner and the Promoter.

8. The competition is only open to entrants who like the MSC in Australia Facebook page.

9. There is one prize available to win: 1 x 3kg box Skull Island Tiger Prawns.

10. The prize cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. There is no cash alternative. Multiple entries will be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter.

11. The winner will be announced on the MSC in Australia Facebook page and notified by Facebook message on Tuesday 4 April 2017, asking for confirmation that they are happy to accept the prize, and confirmation of the full address to which the prize will be delivered. This confirmation will be required by 11 April 2017.

12. In the event that confirmation is not received by a winner, or contact cannot be made with a winner, by 11 April 2017, a new winner will be selected and the original winner will be disqualified.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify from the promotion any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer-generated entries, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter.

15. The Promoter will not be liable for system failures, network errors, its website being unavailable, hacks on the system or personal computer issues.

16. The Promoter’s decision is final in every situation (including any not covered by these terms and conditions) and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. By entering this competition, you agree that the Promoter and/or its subsidiaries, affiliates and/or undertakings may use your name and details about your entry for promotional and media purposes, including, without limitation, on its websites, within its magazines or within its promotional emails and press releases, both for internal and external communication purposes.

18. Entry to the competition shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately on your entry to the competition. If these terms and conditions are not accepted in full, then you should not enter this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
