Internships
On occasion the MSC has opportunities for interns. We have various departments; Policy, Commercial, Communications, Fundraising, Administration - all of which occasionally need help from interns. These positions are generally unpaid but expenses may be provided. We ask for a minimum 3-month contribution, full or part-time, after which we will provide a reference. If you think you could make a valuable contribution to the work of the MSC please email a CV and covering letter to info@msc.org, detailing the following information.

Managing Director Accreditation Services International (ASI)
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is currently seeking candidates for the role of ‘Managing Director of Accreditation Services International (ASI)’.
Based in Bonn, Germany, ASI is a for profit company and one of the leading international accreditation bodies in the world for social and environmental standards. It is a fully owned subsidiary of the Forest Stewardship Council, an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to help solve the challenges that forests face around the world.
The position of ‘Managing Director of Accreditation Services International (ASI)’ offers the opportunity to lead a multi-cultural team on accreditation programs to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). Altogether ASI accredits 38 certification bodies globally, which are then responsible for the certification of close to 20,000 operations in approximately 100 countries.
The successful candidate possesses senior management experience and demonstrated professional experience with similar level positions and responsibilities including managing conformity assessment programs, business development and building of international network of collaborators and consultants. Given the international scope of ASI’s work, the role will require significant travel.
