Pink shrimp

Shrimp are a crustacean and have 10 walking legs - larger shrimp are called prawns in some regions.

Shrimp have a pleasant, sweet flavour making them a a highly popular seafood. Globally, there are many different of species - these vary in colour when raw but turn an attractive pink/reddish hue when cooked. Their sweet taste and firm texture makes them ideal for a great variety of dishes.
