Halibut

When halibut are born its eyes are on both sides of its head, but after about 6 months one eye will migrate to the other side of its head, making it look more like the flounder.

Halibut are the largest of all flat fish and have been an important food source to Native Americans and Canadian First Nations for thousands of years. Try some of our sustainable halibut recipes below!
