Crumbed Mullet Fillets

Serves 5

Ingredients

5 Mullet fillets
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp Minced garlic
1/2 cup plain flour - white or wholemeal flour is okay
2 table spoons dry grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup Bread crumbs - fresh or packaged okay salt and pepper to taste

To make 

  1. Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper in a plastic bag
  2. Combine eggs, garlic and milk in a shallow dish
  3. Put bread crumbs into another plastic bag
  4. Place mullet fillets in bag with flour mix and shake well to coat fillets all over
  5. Place floured fillets into egg mixture and coat all over
  6. Finally put fillets into bag containing bread crumbs
  7. Place fillets in fridge for 60 mins or cook immediately
  8. Shallow fry in olive oil on each side until golden brown
