Ingredients
- 4 x 150 g. MSC certified salmon fillets (fresh or frozen)
For the marinade:
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 inches ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp wasabi paste (or 1/2 tsp chilli flakes)
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- Optional: green onions and/or sesame seeds for garnish
Method
- If using frozen fillets, defrost in the refrigerator overnight, or submerge in cold water for one hour in the plastic pack.
- Whisk together all of the marinade ingredients.
- Marinate the salmon for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper. Arrange each piece of salmon skin side down.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite vegetables or other side dish.
