Sablefish is also known as black cod, despite the fact that it is not part of the cod family. It can live as long as 62 years and grow to a record of 4 feet (122 cm).

Sablefish has a pearly white meat, a large flake, high oil content and a distinctive sweet flavor. Try some of our sustainable sablefish recipes below!
