Voting is now open for the MSC Best Sustainable Seafood Brand 2026 category in the Sustainable Seafood Awards Australia, giving the public a chance to recognise brands leading the way in protecting ocean health.

Hosted annually by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in partnership with the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), the awards celebrate organisations and individuals making significant contributions toward sustainable seafood and healthy oceans.

Awarded to Skull Island Tiger Prawns in 2025, the MSC Best Sustainable Seafood Brand award recognises a trailblazing brand demonstrating leadership in positive ocean impact and a long-term commitment to responsible sourcing aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water.

This year’s nominees include:

  • AGRIOS
  • Bluewave
  • John West
  • Little Tuna
  • Walker’s Tuna

Voters are invited to choose the brand they believe shows the strongest leadership in sustainable seafood, with participants eligible to enter a prize draw to win a $500 supermarket Gift Card of their choice after submitting their vote.

Public voting forms part of the wider awards programme, which highlights innovation and leadership across Australia’s seafood sector and culminates in the announcement of winners at an in-person event in Sydney in March.
