- 2 Fillets Rockfish (cleaned and de-boned)
- 4 Sheets of Nori (roasted seaweed)
- 1/4 cup Blackberries (frozen or fresh)
- 2 TBSP Soy Sauce
- 1 TBSP Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
- 1 TBSP Toasted Sesame Seeds
Method
Method
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Heat over low/medium heat to warm through. For frozen berries, this may take 5-10 minutes. Keep warm while you assemble and cook the fish.
- While the sauce is heating, wrap the rockfish in the nori sheets. Depending on the size of the fillets, you may want to cut the fish in a way that allows for you to completely wrap the rockfish in the nori sheet (just like a gift).
- Steam the wrapped rockfish in a steamer for 3-5 minutes; or until fully cooked.
- Spoon the sauce over the fish and garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve as an appetizer or with rice, noodles, or assorted vegetables.
