- Eligibility: This competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older. A UK address is required for receiving the prize. Age verification may be requested if you are successful. The competition will run from 10am on 13 July 2026 and will close at 23:59 on 7 August 2026.
- How to enter: This competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. To enter, participants need to submit their vote for their favourite MSC certified product. There are 18 products to choose from, and votes can only be submitted via the following web page: www.msc.org/uk/msc-uk-awards/msc-uk-product-of-the-year-2026.
- Participants may only vote once per email address; additional votes from the same email address will not be counted. MSC reserves the right (but is not obliged) to identify and remove duplicate entries from the same individual. Participants will need to verify their vote via the link sent by email. If the verification link is not clicked, the vote will not be counted.
- Vote validity: MSC reserves the right to remove any votes it reasonably believes are not valid, including those suspected of being automatically generated or otherwise submitted in breach of these terms and conditions.
- Winner selection: Winners will be selected on 24 August 2026. All valid entries will each be given a unique number. A random number generator will be used to select two winning numbers from the same pool of entries, one for each prize described in clauses 5 and 6 below. In the event the same number is drawn twice, the random number generator will be run again until two different winning numbers are produced, so that the two prizes are awarded to two different winners.
- Prize one: The first winner will receive 1 x GoPro Dive and Snorkel bundle. The prize includes: the GoPro HERO13 Black Camera, Protective Housing for HERO13 Black, Extension Pole + Waterproof Shutter, Remote, Anti-Fog Inserts (15x), and Camera Case.
- Prize two: The second winner will receive 1 x Passenger Roamer 40L Duffel Bag.
- No affiliation: This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with either GoPro or Passenger.
- No cash alternative: There is no cash or other alternative to the prizes described above, in whole or in part. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be resold. MSC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
- Winner notification: Winners will be notified via the email address they supplied, informing them of their win and requesting a postal address for delivery of the prize. MSC will make up to 3 attempts to contact each winner. If no response is received within 14 days of the first contact attempt, despite these attempts, MSC reserves the right to select a new winner in their place, following the same random selection process described in clause 4.
- Announcement of winners: Winners' first names may be made available if requested by other participants for a period of 28 days following the selection of the winners, but only once they have accepted their prize. If you do not want your first name to be shared, please let MSC know when you are contacted about your win.
- Data protection: Personal data provided by entrants will be processed in accordance with MSC's Privacy Policy: www.msc.org/privacy-policy. The lawful basis for processing entry data (including email addresses and, for winners, postal addresses) is MSC's legitimate interest in administering this competition and delivering prizes. Entry data will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the competition, verify winners, and fulfil prizes, and will be deleted no later than 90 days after the competition closes. Contact details will not be retained or used for further contact after this period unless the entrant has separately and explicitly agreed to receive updates from MSC UK and Ireland.
- Exclusions: This competition is not open to employees (or their immediate family members) of the Marine Stewardship Council, its agents, or any other individual or organisation professionally connected with the organisation or judging of this competition.
- Liability: MSC accepts no responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed, lost, delayed, or corrupted due to a technical fault of any kind, including issues with the website, email delivery, or verification links. MSC accepts no responsibility for prize details that are inaccurate as a result of information supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- Conduct and right to refuse: MSC reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize, to anyone it reasonably suspects of breaching these terms and conditions, or who posts anything on social media in connection with this competition (or tags MSC in any such post) that is, in MSC's reasonable opinion, inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or upsetting to other participants, or contrary to applicable law or the relevant social media platform's terms of use.
- Governing law: These terms and conditions, and the competition itself, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Force majeure. MSC reserves the right, without prior notice, to cancel, amend, or suspend this competition, or these terms and conditions, where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
