Industry update: MSC launches Seafood Insight

As part of its awards programme for 2014, the Marine Stewardship Council UK kicks off Seafood Insight, a new series of interviews with thought leaders in the seafood industry, on 9 October. Winners of this year’s MSC UK awards will share their perspectives on achievements in sustainable seafood and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Jeremy Langley, Aquaculture & Fisheries Manager at Waitrose, explains the retailer’s vision for responsibly sourced seafood and the challenges Waitrose faces in reaching its commitment to independently certify of all its fish and seafood by 2017.
