With both marine biodiversity and fishers' livelihoods in jeopardy, the MSC is committed to research into the impacts of climate change on sustainable fishing. A key component of our sustainability standard is the adaptability of fisheries management and we believe it is vital to understand and guard against present and future risks.

Managing shifting stocks
The MSC is investigating how policies could be improved to ensure a fairer share of quotas.
