Creamy Hake Medallions

Serves 4
  • 4 MSC certified hake medallions
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 250 ml fresh cream
  • 30 ml Worceshire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp chicken stock
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  1. In a large pan add boiling water, fresh cream, Worceshire sauce, chicken stock, crushed garlic, onion powder, chilli flakes, and corn flour, stirring constantly.
  2. Then add mushrooms, hake medallions, fresh parsley, seafood rub, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix and cover to simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens up.
  4. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
