The MSC’s vision is of the world’s oceans teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations. This goal is shared by our partners and stakeholders. Only by working together can we make progress. Listening to and learning from our stakeholders are at the core of our work. This is why we have launched the MSC Global Stakeholder Survey 2025 to follow our last survey in 2021.

The survey is an opportunity for you, as a valued stakeholder, no matter which sector you work in or role you have, to share your views with us. We want to hear your perspectives on the MSC, including your view about our priorities, the value of the program for you, and suggested areas for improvement. Your feedback is invaluable to us and will be used to inform our way forward.

Simon Cripps, MSC Head of Stakeholder Engagement says, “I am certain that the MSC wants to listen and is hoping for a wide range of responses to inform our future work and priorities. I encourage all who know something about the MSC to participate in this 10-minute survey and I look forward to seeing the results and conclusions.”

This anonymous, non-technical survey is accessible in 10 languages ( English, Bahasa Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, and Spanish) and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, depending on the length of some of your answers.

The survey will close on the 12 Sept 2025.

We will share a Highlights Report with those participants who provided their contact details, though you can remain anonymous. The report will summarise the key findings from the research and reaction from us at the MSC.

We have partnered with GlobeScan, a world-leading research and advisory consultancy, to ensure independence and rigour in this process. The research is being undertaken in accordance with the ESOMAR International Code and GDPR.

Thank you in advance for sharing your perspectives with us. If you have any questions, please contact Simon Cripps.
